Footed Pyjamas – The Comfortable Pyjamas
A growing trend in footed pyjamas has hit closets everywhere. There’s something about these whimsical child-like jim-jams that has gotten almost everyone wearing them to sleep. No matter the age, race or gender, you’re sure to catch a glimpse of someone sporting this comfy pyjama.
So what is all the fuss about when it comes to Footed Pyjamas?
Well first off, you can’t deny the comfy, cozy warm feeling you get when you’re in one. It could easily make you feel like a child again. It’s like a security blanket for your body. They’re usually made of napped synthetic fibers like polyester or polar fleece. They are also available in natural fabrics like cotton which is breathable so you can still feel cool without being cold. Footed pyjamas are perfect for keeping your entire body warm at night in the absence of a blanket.
Footed Pyjamas are distinguished by their full body coverall from neck to toe and often have a zipper at the front that goes down from the neck to one of the ankles, usually the left one. This design is common for children because it makes for easy access in and out of the pyjama. On adults, the zipper usually goes from the neck down to the crotch.
These pyjamas are loose fitting and give you the mobility you need to get around the house. Though the pyjama keeps you warm and secure, you never feel restricted. They often have a snug rib-knit collar and wrist cuffs. This helps keep the sleeves of the pyjama from riding up, keeping your arms from the draft of the night.
The main feature of the footed pyjama would obviously be the footed leggings. Many know that of all the body parts, the feet tend to get cold the fastest. Footed pyjamas are the best solution. Unlike socks, they don’t slide off or ride down. Since they’re connected to the leg portion of the pyjama, you can be certain that your feet will stay snug and warm throughout the night.
Most of the footings have rubber grips at the bottom or sole. This allows you to walk around without having to worry about slipping. This also helps improve the durability and longevity of the footings so they don’t easily ware out.
Footed Pyjamas come in all sorts of sizes, colour and style. Manufacturers are getting more and more creative with the different varieties since the market for these jim-jams have grown from just being a toddler blanket sleeper to a trendy fashionable nighty for people of every genre. They can also come in costume varieties. The most common costume design for a footed pyjama would be the bunny. You could easily spot people wearing the “bunny suit” around Halloween. In reality, they’re really just wearing their pyjamas out in public. But who really can tell the difference?
If you ever want a pair of pyjamas that has both form and function, then the footed pyjama should definitely be on your wish list. It’s seems as if it’ll be one trend that we’ll be seeing around for a long time.

I absolutely love footed pajamas. I don’t live in the UK, I’m in the US but I do absolutely love a man in a pair of these hottie pyjamas with feet. Now what’s funny to me is how you say it. LOL We say Pajamas and you say Pyjamas. Or is that just a cute nickname in the UK? Either way, I love that grown men are wearing these over there! I’m in the wrong country!
